What is Ikigai?

Ikigai is an ancient Japanese philosophy. It means “a reason for being” or a definite life purpose.

Many Super-centenarians (aged >110) attributed having a purpose-driven life to their longevity.

Such was the finding in Ohgimi village Okinawa; Japan, aptly called the “Village of Long Life”. It currently holds the Guinness World Record for the highest life expectancy on our planet.
